Yes they are
Sitting here now and they definitely are still open. 10/28/17
Yes
Hi Mary, you could Google their web page. But I think the other local guides are right.
Hi Arlene Oakley, maybe I can help. If you go to Google on your phone and tap the mic and say Jackie two Ogunquit Maine. I think their page well come up on your phone was that information and their telephone number. Reason why I say this. Jackie to, does have a page that come up on my phone when I joined Google local guides a lot of businesses come up on my phone for ratings. Jackie to, was one of them. And is still on my phone with all the rest of them. So please try this and I think they can help you with your question.
No they do not take reservations
They close in the fall. I believe sometime in October. The restaurant is an open concept that is not winter friendly.
Call them and ask !
Open 11 am to 4 pm spring hours. 7 days a week
Good service, great view, can ask for a bit if a change from menu. The pic is of view as sun was going down. A bit dark.
Being located right on the water in Perkins Cove this restaurant has great views from many tables. Not being a seafood fan I can't review most of the menu as it is predominantly seafood and with good reason because fresh fish is just feet away. I did have the chicken broccoli Alfredo which had a thick creamy Alfredo sauce with tender chicken bites and fresh broccoli. No complaints at all. It did seem odd that on a prime Friday night in the middle of summer the place was almost empty at 7:30 PM. Take that for what you will.
The food was ok. It was not bad. Being from Louisiana I am looking for more flavor. Nothing popped!
Great restaurantright on the water. Plenty of views of the rocky coastline while you eat. The food and service were both great. We only visited for a mid-afternoon snack so only had apps. The clam chowder and lobster cakes were awesome. The salads were good sized. From the looks of the menu, would definitely definitely come back for dinner sometime. There is a big parking lot, but its gets pretty full with all the Perkin's Cove traffic. Definitely recommend taking the trolley or walking the marginal way (cliff walk) to get here.
This seafood restaurant in Perkins Cove has fantastic ocean views and views the cliffs of the nearby Marginal Way. It's a short walk to the beginning of the trail. The town and restaurant is very popular with tourists. If you come early, you should be able to snag one of the many tables by a window and be rewarded with a spectacular ocean view. The seafood selection is good and there are other non-seafood choices as well. The prices are typically high due to the combination of seafood, tourists and location. The wait times can typically be long, as is everything located in Perkins Cove, so plan accordingly. Parking is extremely limited, difficult and/or expensive like anywhere in Perkins Cove that doesn't have its own parking lot.
Great service, big portions
We were seated then asked to move from our table to the bar because we decided not to order a full diner. The place was not busy in fact no one was seated at the table the entire time we finished our drinks and app at the bar. Poor customer relations...
Busy evening & we were seated within 20 minutes..our server was great. She lives in Naples in the winter..! We both had stuffed shrimp with mixed veggies. Food was delicious, service was great & we had the beautiful water for a view!!
In my opinion food is expensive. I paid for my salad with lobster 25$+tax. But this place has a big advantage - beautiful view to the sea.
Good food, great location, destination view
Beautiful restaurant in Perkins Cove. It's a seasonal restaurant as most of the seating is on a covered patio directly on the water. Good food and a nice selection of draft beer.
Good food, good atmosphere a bit pricey.
Wonderful lunch right on the marginal way. I had the pastrami reuben. Excellent! The pastrami was tasty and not greasy. The sauercraut made me a little gassy, as it should, and I tooted my way down the cliff path.
We went off season in March for our anniversary. Food was fantistic!!! View was great, easy parking. Want to go back!
Been to Jackie’s several times before yesterday’s visit. Except for the server, Morgan, who was very good, the latest visit for lunch with four friends was a huge disappointment. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and one was undrinkable. My food was cold. My husband’s fish was OK but nothing to rave about. With such a great waterfront location, I guess a restaurant doesn’t need to be very good in tourist season...
Great place and decent prices, oir waiter was very attentive and professional. I got "Jackie's Favorite" but forgot to take a picture until I was half way done... lobster bisque was very good, beer section was great.
Nice little place. Staff is friendly. Perfectly baked haddock with a twist on the stuffing. (Shrimp and scallops). I chose fries but they have other sides.
Fun place to visit. Lots to do. Good food, views, and location
Great drinks. Nice bar...
Always a great place to enjoy lunch, and a cocktail!
Serenity by the ocean. Very fresh seafood cooked to perfection
The water view is beautiful. The wait staff was good but very busy. Parking is hard to get. This could be a great restaurant but it feels like the management is content knowing they will always have customers because of location. They don't seem to care it the tourist have a good experience or not. Most will never be back.
The setting of the restaurant cannot be beat: at the end of Perkins Cove with beautiful views from every seat in the restaurant. Delicious pasta and friendly servers just add to a wonderful place to have a meal!
First restaurant we visited in Maine. Very pleased with meal and blueberry lemon cake for dessert was amazing. Enjoyed local Maine Lunch IPA. Staff was very friendly.
Ate here tonight, 9/11/19 and sat outside and had a friend hang out with us. A real friendly seagull. Waitress was pleasant but don't need a drink refill as it took forever to see her again and once I got my refill I find out it was an extra cost. It was just a diet Coke in a glass overfilled with ice. I won't be eating there again.
Clam chowder is awesome and the fresh lobsters were really good, I had the lobster roll was decent, service is pretty good when they get you set up. Nice views and seating.
Wait staff was very attentive, food was great... Perfectly cooked , they didn't give in to the temptation to over cook the scallops. Seating on the terrace was shielded from the wind and rain by clear plastic so still had a great view. Dessert selection was not terribly diverse but everything we got was delicious.
My wife and I stopped for lunch after an amazing walk on the Marginal Way. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We ordered a cup of clam chowder and their lunch special. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. View of the ocean and Marginal Way priceless! Highly recommend any time of year.
I was a little hesitant coming here because of their poor Yelp reviews, but I looked at the content of them and noticed most of them were about bad service. However, taking into account the usual clientele that come in, it didn’t seem far fetched that they would leave reviews like that and the view was amazing so my friend and I went in anyways. We got the 1 1/4 lb lobster + clams and mussels + clam chowder and a brussel sprout appetizer. The clam chowder was definitely in the top 3 best clam chowders I’ve ever had. So delicious. The sprouts were also very good. We ate the seafood so fast I forgot to take a picture. The lobster was very well cooked and fresh. The other seafood could have used some sort of sauce other than butter. It was good in butter, but I wish there was something else. I thought it would be like a seafood boil with seasonings in it already, but it was plain. Still good, but no amazing.
This is a great spot for cocktails, food and magnificent views of the ocean. The atmosphere is always festive and the drinks are great!! Especially when Sue is bartending.
Beautiful view of the bay! The food was okay. My lobster grilled cheese had American cheese that brought the taste down a notch. My husband's shrimp roll was on a hamburger bun. So, while the food was good, better ingredients would have made it better. The service was very friendly and the portion sizes were good.
I had the fried clams. It was ok. I'd pass on the cole slaw. My youngest enjoyed his lobster. Oldest wasn't too impressed with the lobster fettuccine. Overall ok.
Lovely food, very good service by our waiter. Loved the ambience on heated deck. We are vegetarian and our eggplant sandwich and goat cheese salad was very tasty!
Delicious food, great view of the harbor.
Great food and drinks. Helpful staff. Nice jump off point for walk on marginal way.
Jackie's too I give 5 stars. This is a good clean restaurant and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and they have a lot to choose from in their menu. This restaurant has good views of the ocean. And Jackie has outside seating. Jackie's is located in Perkins Cove and there's a lot of little shops around there. You might have to pay for parking between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. if you can't find any free parking place.
Calamari was rubber with too much batter. Plastic piece included
Really friendly service, the view is amazing, and the food is fresh. You really feel like you're right next to the ocean. Bring a sweater during the evening if you're planning on sitting on the patio as it might get a little chilly and breezy.Recommend the lobsters and clams!
Extremely nice staff. The food was delicious, but better than that was the view! The restaurant is LITERALLY right on the water and after a nice meal you can go on the scenic walk right by the restaurant. For the location the food is very affordable. Will go back!
View was great! Prices lower than expected. Beer selection smart. If you are deciding between chowder or bisque, go chowder. This place is a home run.
THE most horrible dining experience I have ever encountered. Upon being seated at a table with a great view, we ordered drinks. We also ordered an appetizer. After the waitress checked in multiple times we decided we did not want to order full dinners. We were then asked to get up and move to sit at the bar as we were not ordering dinner and these were pime seats. It was 4pm on a Thursday. No wait and many open tables. Extremely terrible experience, never have I experienced being discriminated against for what I was ordering or not.
My husband and I were in town just taking in the scenery and came in for lunch. Place is really nice and clean. The hostess and waitress were very nice. Now in to the good part! The food!!! Omg! I personally had their lobster roll and it was exquisite. My husband on the other hand has the stuffed lobster and let me tell you that I was jealous! His lobster was beautifully cooked! It was the best lobster he had in his life! Bloody Mary's were very good as well. We also ordered their crab cakes and those were delicious as well! 5 stars all the way! A plus !
Stopped in for a quick bite before heading out onto the Marginal Way. We enjoyed the California chicken wrap and the tuna melt. Our waitress Barbara was very sweet and attentive. We often try to stop here when we visit Ogunquit.
My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and we got a table with a beautiful view of the water. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I got the lobster bisque and baked stuffed haddock and wasn't disappointed.
Great sangria, delicious food, friendly service and amazing views. We'll be back.
Great food. Loved the mussels, crab and lobster roll. The shrimp was out of this world. Great view
Amazing food, drinks, and bartender. Had the lobster grilled cheese which was amazing. And the people are always so friendly.
Food was good service a little slow but gorgeous views of water.
Food was great as well as the view. It's one of our favorite places to go for lunch. Staff is always friendly with good service
This was exactly why I came to Maine. To knock "eat a lobster on the coast of Maine" off my bucket list. We sat outside and the view was amazing, exactly what I dreamed. We got there around 5 so we didn't have to deal with a dinner rush and got prime seating. We had the mussels for an appetizer (amazing, best sauce Ive ever had on mussels, saved some to use for my lobster) and they had a two lobster dinner special so it was reasonable. It isn't cheap though, we spent about $60 per person; however, we each also had a couple of good glasses of wine. Considering what we got, I felt satisfied with that.
